Improving Education

For me, quality education is a vital driver of social mobility and the key to building a more prosperous Britain. That is why visiting and supporting our schools is the most common activity I undertake when back in the constituency. I am most focused on inspiring a new diverse generation of future engineers as the Government’s Engineering Envoy.

I am also a keen supporter of apprenticeships and have been appointed Apprenticeship Ambassador by The Minister for Apprenticeships and Skills Anne Milton to help promote them across the country.
