Local improvements are a huge focus of mine. The Covid pandemic has been a big challenge and I thank the NHS for the grit that they have shown in exceptional circumstances. Now, we must invest and ensure that the waiting lists start to come down.
I help to keep our country safe, protect our values and preserve our way of life. I work with the Police, Councillors & businesses to tackle crime head on and support local initiatives.
I am passionate advocate for science and technology. As such, I participate in groups across Parliament - engaging with the UK scientific community, hearing from industry experts, and collaborating with the Government to help build on Britain's success in science.
For me, quality education is a vital driver of social mobility and the key to building a more prosperous Britain. That is why visiting and supporting our schools is the most common activity I undertake when back in the constituency.
